The AEPRY was incepted as a response to the socio-economic crisis and lack of proper education in the rural areas of Myanmar. Being one of the poorest countries in the world the people in Myanmar have beensuffering from all kinds of poverty. Since 2011 political change within the government sectors, the elected government has been making all kinds of efforts for the development of the country both in urban and rural areas but most of the people are still in need of intensive health-care and social development. Studies show that 70% of the population lives in rural areas where poverty is found with its highest form. Family’s financial problem also hampers children’s education. Therefore, most of the regions in Myanmar are still facing social and economical backwardness.AEPRY firmly stands as an agency that gives timely and effective response to the above problems in Myanmar. It constantly seeks for the growth of marginalized and poor families by supporting for the education of the new generations. AEPRY believes that making human based investment is the most effective way of building a well developed Human Society. Therefore, AEPRY is fully committed for the cause of the poor youth (the new generation) both from rural and urban areas.
